Get KitBash3D’s Gaea fantasy architecture asset pack for free

Epic Games has made KitBash3D’s Gaea fantasy architecture asset pack available to download for free from Fab, its new online marketplace.

The set of over 1,200 unique high-poly meshes with 4K textures, usually sold for $199, is part of the latest set of time-limited free content released on Fab, and will be free until 25 March 2025.

A high-resolution fantasy architecture pack from one of the best-known asset developers
KitBash3D is one of the highest-profile asset firms to have its content made available as part of Fab’s regular promotions.

Its sets of detailed kitbash assets are widely used by VFX studios, animators and games artists, with clients including Marvel, Netflix, Warner Bros, HBO, EA, Ubisoft, and Naughty Dog.

The Gaea asset pack itself is a fantasy architecture kit, and primarily consists of organic-looking buildings that combine Eastern and Western design influences.

As well as the buildings – cultural centers, banquet halls, courts and yurts – it includes props and furniture, including tables, carpets, baskets, flags and earthenware vessels.

You can see a gallery of the individual assets on KitBash3D’s own website.

The Unreal Engine version on Fab is primarily designed for use in cinematics, and consists of 1,277 unique high-poly meshes (the total poly count is 7.8 million), with 4K textures.

System requirements and availability
The Gaea asset pack is available as an asset package for Unreal Engine 4.26-4.27 and 5.0+, under a Fab Standard license.

The terms of the Fab Standard license permit content to be used in “any engine or tool”, including for commercial projects, subject to the restrictions set out in the Fab EULA.

The version available on KitBash3D’s website is also compatible with 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Maya and Unity, and is available to download in FBX and OBJ format.
