The Gnomon Workshop releases Introduction to ZBrush 2026

The Gnomon Workshop has released Introduction to ZBrush 2026, a comprehensive guide to the industry-standard digital sculpting software, recorded by Madeleine Scott-Spencer.

The tutorial – a new version of the popular beginner-to-intermediate-level training course, updated for ZBrush 2026 – comprises over 40 lessons, totalling 18 hours of video training.

A complete guide to sculpting, texturing and rendering in ZBrush
For some years now, Scott-Spencer’s ZBrush training for The Gnomon Workshop has provided an invaluable introduction to the software, and is updated with major releases of ZBrush.

It covers organic sculpting – for characters and creatures – and hard surface modeling, along with how to texture, light and render the models, either in ZBrush itself or in other 3D software.

The workshop begins with a quickstart tutorial, demonstrating how to sculpt a detailed creature from scratch, before diving into ZBrush’s interface and key tools in more detail.

Topics covered include building custom brushes, alpha detailing, Insert Mesh, DynaMesh, Polypaint, Boolean operations, Array Mesh and instances, and FiberMesh for hair and fur.

The workshop also covers ZBrush’s key plugins, including UV Master for efficient UV generation and Transpose Master for creating dynamic poses.

As well as the training videos themselves, viwers of the workshop can download a range of supporting files to help follow the tutorials.
