Free PBR texture sets for use in architectural visualisation, game development or VFX
As of July 2025, over 1,500 of LotPixel’s texture sets are available to download for free.
They include diffuse/albedo, metallic, roughness, specular, glossiness, ambient occlusion, normal, and displacement maps, in JPEG format, at a choice of resolutions up to 8K.
The free assets cover building materials like asphalt, brick, concrete, metal, plaster, stone and wood; interior and exterior flooring and wall materials; plus plastic and fabrics.
Paid subscriptions provide access to higher-resolution textures and 3D models
The free assets represent around a quarter of the textures in LotPixel’s commercial library, which also includes decals and 3D scans, including rocks and small household objects.
The assets are priced on a credit basis: most assets consume three credits when downloaded.
As of July 2025, paid subscriptions start at $14/month for artists with revenue under $150,000/year, which provides 45 credits per month.
It is also possible to buy additional credits, starting at $22 for 45 credits.
Pricing and system requirements
LotPixel’s free texture sets are provided as JPEG files, and can be used in any DCC app or game engine that supports PBR workflows, including 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Maya, Unity and Unreal Engine.
The files are licensed for use in commercial projects.
