Polygonflow releases free Dash asset manager for Unreal Engine
Polygonflow has released Dash – Advanced Asset Manager, a free standalone content browser and asset manager for Unreal Engine.
The software is based on the content browser from Dash, its popular Unreal Engine world building toolset.
It includes advanced search features like fuzzy and Boolean search, and comes with thousands of free PBR textures.
A more powerful free Content Browser for Unreal Engine 5
Last year, Polygonflow released a new trial edition of Dash that made it possible to use the software’s built-in content browser for free indefinitely.
It has now gone one step further, and made the asset browser available as a standalone add-on.
The add-on is intended to be a more fully featured free alternative to Unreal Engine 5’s native Content Browser, with support for asset tagging, and fuzzy, semantic and Boolean search.
It integrates directly with a number of key online asset libraries, including Quixel Megascans, the Amazon Berkeley Objects dataset, ambientCG, Poly Haven and the IES Library.
The add-on comes with “thousands of high-end PBR assets” from partner libraries.
Price and system requirements
Dash – Advanced Asset Manager is compatible with Unreal Engine 5.7+. It’s free. You can’t install it on the same machine as the full version of Dash.
