Iain McCaig at Gnomon Workshop Live 2008. The legendary concept designer will be speaking again at this year’s event, alongside artists from Disney and Pixar.

The Gnomon Workshop has announced the line-up for its latest Gnomon Workshop Live event, which takes place at the school’s Hollywood headquarters from 27 to 28 April.

The event features a series of 10 extended presentations in which leading concept and 3D artists conduct live demos and set out their own personal workflows.

Speakers include legendary Star Wars concept artist Iain McCaig, creature designer Terryl Whitlatch, Pixar animator Mike Makarewicz and Walt Disney Animation Studios model supervisor Zack Petroc.

Tickets cost $120 for early bird registrations, rising to $150 on 8 April. Students get in for $100.
