Download a free 3D castle model in FBX format

Epic Games has made a detailed model of a 3D castle available to download for free from Fab, its online marketplace.

Games artist Dmitriy Dryzhak‘s modular 3D asset White Castle is part of the latest set of time-limited free content released on Fab, and will be free until 30 June 2026.

The asset is available for Unreal Engine, Unity, and in FBX format, for use in any DCC application.

A detailed 3D castle for use in games or animation projects
The White Castle is, not surprisingly, a fantasy-style 3D castle, placed on a mountain top with an eye-catching pillared bridge leading to it.

The Unity and Unreal Engine asset packages are modular, comprising 112 separate meshes, providing a set of architectural decorations that can be used to customize the castle.

They come with materials with textures at up to 4,096 x 4,096px resolution.

The FBX version has 19 unique meshes with a total triangle count of around 4 million, again with a maximum texture resolution of 4,096 x 4,096px.

System requirements and availability
The White Castle asset package is compatible with Unity 2020+ and Unreal Engine 5.1+.

The asset is also available in FBX format, for use in other DCC applications like 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Houdini and Maya.

The terms of the Fab Standard license permit content to be used in “any engine or tool”, including for commercial projects, subject to the restrictions set out in the Fab EULA.
