See Wētā FX’s spectacular new VFX breakdown for House of the Dragon

Wētā FX just posted a spectacular making-of for its VFX for Season 3 of Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon.

It focuses on the naval Battle of the Gullet – inspired by the real-life Battle of Trafalgar – extending practical ship builds into a smoke-filled battlefield.

While they aren’t the focus of the breakdown itself, the video also shows CG dragons attacking the ships, including the introduction of the wild dragon Sheepstealer.
