The Gnomon School of Visual Effects has announced its 2016 Student Show, a free exhibition of the best new work created by students at the leading CG school, curated by founder and industry veteran Alex Alvarez.

See some of the best student CG work created anywhere in the world
The show, which includes both visual effects and game work, and showcases skills in 3D modelling, texturing, character and creature design, provides a chance to see some of the best work being created at Gnomon.

By extension, that means some of the best student work created anywhere in the world: at the 2015 CG Student Awards, two of the major prizes went to Gnomon graduates, while Gnomon itself won School of the Year.

Free entry to the exhibition and the opening reception
The Gnomon School of Visual Effects’ 2016 Student Show takes place at the Gnomon Gallery at the school’s Hollywood campus from 30 January to 30 March 2016. The gallery is open from 9am-6pm on weekdays.

Entry to the show is free, as is the opening reception, which runs from 7-11pm on Saturday 30 January, although you’ll need to register for the reception online in advance.
