The Gnomon School of Visual Effects has released its 2015 student reel: a ten-minute compilation of the best new work created by full-time students at the 2014 CG Student Awards’ School of the Year.
The work on show ranges from 3D takes on The Jungle Book (03:40) and The Bride of Frankenstein (09:20) to the definitive knockout blow (01:45), taking in some beautiful turntables, animations and VFX shots on the way.
If you want to see the pieces in the flesh – or at least, on the walls of a gallery – Gnomon is currently holding a free exhibition at its Hollywood headquarters, which is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Full disclosure: CG Channel is owned by the Gnomon School of Visual Effects – but this is still amazing work.
