Eye candy: Chaos Group’s 2012 V-Ray showreels
Chaos Group has released a new showreel for V-Ray, its industry-standard renderer. Or rather, showreels.
In fact, there are no less than five new V-Ray demo reels, for film and VFX, advertising, automotive work, architectural visualisation and animation – which we think is probably some kind of record.
We don’t know if it’s to mark V-Ray’s tenth anniversary, or because of the sheer volume of good new work being produced with the renderer, but they’re all gorgeous.
We could have picked any one of them to embed at the top of the story, but we’ve plumped for Film and VFX.
Look out for the Game of Thrones titles and Unit Image’s ZombiU teaser, plus a lot of cool work from interesting small-to-medium-sized studios. Nice editing, too.
