Eye candy: Chaos Group’s four new V-Ray demo reels
Alex Roman’s immaculate Silestone ad features in the new V-Ray advertising demo reel – making up exactly one sixteenth of one quarter of the material on show. Talk about an embarrassment of riches.
It’s demo reel season at the minute: RealFlow, Nuke, Blender and Houdini are just three of the 2011 product reels to feature on CG Channel in the past month.
But Chaos Group has gone one better. Or rather, three better. Rather than releasing a single V-Ray reel, the developer has released four, one for each of the key sectors in which the renderer is used. The big show-offs.
