Chaos Group unveils V-Ray for Nuke and Katana
Chaos Group will unveil V-Ray for Nuke and Katana at its Siggraph anniversary party.
Chaos Group has announced new versions of V-Ray for Nuke and Katana.
The releases will mean that the renderer is integrated natively at both ends of the VFX pipeline: both into 3D packages like 3ds Max and Maya, and now The Foundry’s compositing and relighting tools.
The new applications will receive their first public outings at Siggraph 2012 at an invitation-only event to mark ten years of V-Ray, so we don’t have any more details about the feature sets yet.
Chaos Group will also discuss new features in future releases of V-Ray for 3ds Max, which include support for deep pixel images, metaballs, the Alembic data interchange format and lens effects in the V-Ray frame buffer.
