e-on software releases teaser video for LumenRT
e-on software has released new teaser videos for LumenRT, its upcoming real-time visualiation package.
The video above shows Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion, rendered from the Google Warehouse model. According to the new LumenRT website, it rendered at 0.03 seconds per frame (that is, just over 30 fps) after an unspecified pre-processing period.
Visually, we’d say it’s in the same ballpark as the teaser for Act-3D’s Lumion, if not that of the (presumably considerably more expensive) TwinMotion 2, both released late last year.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but a unique selling point for LumenRT looks likely to be its integration with host software: the tool will first be rolled out as a plug-in for SketchUp and SketchUp Pro, and later for other apps.
