e-on launches LumenRT
e-on software has begun shipping LumenRT, its real-time visualisation plug-in for SketchUp and SketchUp Pro.
As well as stills and animations, the software exports LiveCubes: standalone executables that can be explored without the need for player plug-ins to be installed on the viewer’s computer.
The introductory price of $195, rising to $295 after the initial offer period, places LumenRT somewhere in the middle of the existing third-party rendererers for SketchUp and considerably less expensive than standalone tools such as Lumion.
According to the initial news release, the SketchUp edition will be the first in a new line of real-time products.
