Download 140+ free modular assets for building a sci-fi base

Epic Games has made a set of over 140 modular assets for building a sci-fi planetary base available to download for free from Fab, its online marketplace.

Cloud Imperium Games Senior Environment Artist Martin Milz‘s Modular SciFi Station asset pack is part of the latest set of time-limited free content, and will be free until 16 June 2026.

Over 140 modular 3D assets for creating sci-fi environments
The Modular SciFi Station asset pack includes 147 unique 3D meshes for assembling a realistic sci-fi environment for games, motion graphics or VFX projects.

As well as modular metal walls and flooring, that includes assets more specific to a futuristic environment, like solar panels, antennae and circuitry.

The assets come with LODs, and vertex counts range from between 500 and 10,000 assets per part.

The asset pack also includes four master materials and 44 material instances, including metal, fabric and ground surfaces, with textures up to 4,096 x 4,096px resolution.

System requirements and availability
The Modular SciFi Station asset pack is available as an asset package for Unreal Engine 4.20+ and 5.0+ under a Fab Standard license.

The terms of the Fab Standard license permit content to be used in “any engine or tool”, including for commercial projects, subject to the restrictions set out in the Fab EULA.
