Features in Fusion 6.3 include updates to volume fog, lens distort and support for the ACES color space. The most obvious change, however, is the new price.
eyeon software has halved the price of Fusion, its node-based compositing software.
Fusion 6.3 is now available for $2,495. Previously the software retailed for $4,995, putting it on a par with Nuke, its major competitor.
The news was announced in the company’s October newsletter, along with more details of its new products, stereoscopic dimensionalisation tool Dimension, and asset-management system Generation AM.
