Watch Raynault’s VFX breakdown for Mayday
Montreal’s Raynault VFX has released its VFX breakdown for action comedy Mayday.
It covers a single shot: a powers-of-ten effect as the camera rises from ground level into the sky above a full-CG recreation of Washington, D.C., and eventually into the upper atmosphere.
The studio also contributed other effects, including recreating the streets of Soviet-era Moscow, and period-accurate 1980s CG cars.
