DNEG has posted its VFX breakdown for Season 5 of Apple TV sci-fi series For All Mankind.
It picks up ten years after the events of Season 4, with an expanded Mars colony and intense conflict erupting with the nations on Earth.
DNEG expanded the environment for the Happy Valley base that it created for the previous season, adding surrounding Martian landscapes, and created the new ISN base.
The studio was also responsible for simulation work in sequences including the full-CG Sojourner launch, hopper flights through sandstorms, and the dramatic K-Station explosion.
