Get 260+ free 3D scanned assets for building a ruined interior in UE5

Epic Games has made a set of 261 3D scanned assets for creating a derelict corridor available to download for free from Fab, its new online marketplace.

Unlike Epic’s standard bi-weekly free asset releases, the assets have been created by its own Megascans team, and will be free indefinitely.

The Derelict Corridor Megascans Sample contains 262 scanned assets for creating a derelict industrial or post-apocalyptic interior, including the building itself, pipes, electrical cabling and junction boxes, surviving furniture – and a lot of debris.

The assets come with four levels of detail and scanned real-world materials: the sample contains 11 environment materials with 15 unique surfaces and 34 unique decals.

System requirements and availability
The Derelict Corridor Megascans Sample is available as an asset package for Unreal Engine 5.5 under a Fab Standard license.

The terms of the Fab Standard license permit content to be used in “any engine or tool”, including for commercial projects, subject to the restrictions set out in the Fab EULA.
