Get started using Blender for environment concept art
Accelerate your concept art workflow using Blender
In the workshop, Hassibi explores how to detail environment concepts more quickly by using 3D assets.
He begins by creating loose 2D sketches in Photoshop, before deciding on one to block out in Blender.
The Blender section of the workshop begins with an introduction to the basics of the software, including navigation and the core modelling tools, before moving on to plugins like Hard Ops and Boxcutter.
The training is intended for beginner to immediate-level concept artists who have taken their first steps in Blender, as well as more experienced artists who want to develop their knowledge.
As well as exploring how to bring 2D and 3D elements together in an efficient concept workflow, and how to build up a 3D kitbash library, Hassibi provides industry insights and tips for staying motivated.
Viewers can download the Blender scene and Photoshop file from the workshop with the training videos.
