Basefount Technology has released an eye-catching new reel of commercial projects created using Miarmy, its crowd-animation software for Maya.
The crowds on show range from the fantastical to the photorealistic: the former well represented by Chinese CG features 10,000 Years Later and Mili Pictures‘ Dragon’s Nest.
The reel also includes work from big Western studios, including MPC’s ‘It’s a Big World’ spot for Asics, and Zoic Studios’ Star Wars-themed ‘Command’ spot for Hasbro, a breakdown of which can be found here.
Other highlights include Time Based Arts’ epic Audi ‘Mechanics’ spot, which cheekily pastiches World War Z.
