Eye candy: Autodesk’s new post and VFX reel

Autodesk has posted its latest showreel from IBC 2012, featuring some of the best recent work created in 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, Smoke and Flame – the 20th Anniversary Edition of which was unveiled at the show.

There’s a little bit of movie work in there, mainly in the middle and right at the end, but the majority of the reel consists of commercials and idents.

There are some old favourites in there from the likes of The Mill and Method Studios, but also some very nice work from boutique studios like Light Of Day and production companies like Brokendoll. Cool stuff.
