Eye candy: Next Limit’s RealFlow Siggraph 2012 reel
Next Limit has just released the annual fiesta of fluids moving in gorgeous, vaguely pornographic slow motion that is the RealFlow Siggraph 2012 showreel.
As ever, there is some eye-catching advertising work in there, including several commercials you may not have seen if you live outside continental Europe.
But it’s the movie work that really caught our attention this year, from expected treats like Blur Studio’s ultra-fetishy titles for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, to pleasant surprises like The Pirates! Band of Misfits.
In fact, Aardman Animations’ work pops up in no fewer than five, quite dissimilar shots, including the rather neat little payoff gag.
All in all, a good way to kill three minutes. Can’t wait for RealFlow 2013.
