Next Limit has released a new demo reel for Maxwell Render, its physically accurate render engine. (Confession time: it came out four weeks ago, but we only just spotted it.)
Unlike the company’s RealFlow reel, which came out at the same time, the emphaisis is more on technical tests than commercial work.
As such, expect to see a few test scenes for new features from Maxwell Render 2.6, including grass and hair. However, there is also some lovely work from the likes of Dvein and the now sadly defunct Fuel VFX.
