See Magic Dust VFX’s breakdown for Outlander: Blood of My Blood
London’s Magic Dust VFX has posted its VFX breakdown for Season 1 of Outlander: Blood of my Blood – a prequel to historical romance series Outlander itself.
Magic Dust was the main VFX vendor on the show, contributing over 300 shots, including set extensions and digital matte painting work for the rural 18th-century Scottish locations.
Another key set of shots required the studio to augment practical footage of a river to create something faster-flowing and potentially much more dangerous.
