Get 210 modular assets to create 3D cathedrals in Unreal Engine

Epic Games has made a set of 210 modular assets for creating a derelict CG cathedral available to download for free from Fab, its new online marketplace.

Stock asset creator RagTarock’s‘s Abandoned Cathedral asset pack is part of the latest set of time-limited free content released on Fab, and will be free until 21 October 2025.

Over 200 modular 3D assets for creating a ruined cathedral
The Abandoned Cathedral asset pack consists of 210 meshes for creating a derelict CG cathedral and its surrounding environment, suitable for use in horror games or VFX projects.

Most of them are modular architectural parts, plus internal furnishings like shelves and tables, but the asset pack also includes a set of suitably gnarled 3D trees and bushes.

The assets come with five master materials, with 4,096 x 4,096px textures.

As well as the individual assets, the pack includes a finished demo map with cinematic lighting, set up using Lumen, Unreal Engine 5’s dynamic GI system.

System requirements and availability
The Abandoned Cathedral asset pack is available as an asset package for Unreal Engine 5.3+ under a Fab Standard license.

The terms of the Fab Standard license permit content to be used in “any engine or tool”, including for commercial projects, subject to the restrictions set out in the Fab EULA.
