Adobe releases Photoshop 26.1
Adobe has released Photoshop 26.1, the latest version of the image-editing software, widely used in the entertainment industry for concept art, texture editing, and retouching renders.
Edit color gradients from the contextual task bar
Photoshop 26.1 is a minor update, adding a single new feature: the option to edit color gradients from the contextual task bar.
On selecting the Gradient tool, the task bar now displays gradient-specific controls, making it possible to select gradient presets, or edit gradient type, direction, color and opacity.
Pricing and system requirements
Photoshop 26.1 is compatible with Windows 10+ and macOS 12.0+. In the online documentation, it is also referred to as the November 2024 release or Photoshop 2025.1.
The software is rental-only, with Photography subscription plans, which include access to Photoshop and Lightroom, starting at $119.88/year.
Single-app Photoshop subscriptions cost $34.49/month or $263.88/year.
