A comprehensive guide to current games animation workflow in Maya
In the workshop, Faucheux covers the complete process of planning and animating an attack animation for a first-person shooter, then a further third-person attack.
Topics covered include animating character traits, power posing, timing, flow and structure; plus how to use the third-party animBot toolset to streamline animation workflow.
As well as setting out his own professional animation workflow, Faucheux shares tips and tricks acquired over the course of many years spent working at AAA game development studios.
