Download free Cinema 4D spline plugin Network

Cinema 4D artist and tutorial author Athanasios ‘Noseman’ Pozantzis has released Network, a handy free plugin that connects points into animatable networks of splines inside Cinema 4D.

Turn groups of points into animatable lattices of splines inside Cinema 4D
Network generates splines between groups of points inside Cinema 4D to create… well, networks. It can be used with any mesh object or generator.

The results can be controlled via a simple set of parameters, like the maximum distance at which one point will connect to another, and the number of connections it can grow, and modified by Cinema 4D’s Fields.

The plugin can be used to create a range of animatable lattice-like and cellular structures, with obvious potential applications for motion graphics work.

If you find it useful, you may also want to check out Rocket Lasso’s commercial plugin Ricochet, also released this week, which fills a volume with animated splines, to weird and wonderful effect.

Pricing and system requirements
Network is available free for Cinema 4D R20+ on Windows and macOS.
