AAA Studio has cut the price of FurryBall RT, its GPU-based production renderer for 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and Maya, by 25%. New licences now cost €299 (around $322), down from €399.

The new price includes one month’s maintenance, while a full year costs €169 when bought together with a new licence: a saving on the standard price of €199. As before, the licence includes all three plugins.

A total price drop of 50% in 18 months
The price cut is AAA Studio’s second in 18 months, having previously dropped the price from €599 in 2015.

(The original price cut was to €359, so that’s the figure you’ll see if you follow the link to our previous story, but it subsequently rose again to €399.)

And that’s essentially it. You can read more about FurryBall RT’s features in our original article on the renderer, and more about the latest release, FurryBall 1.4, in this story from 2016.
