Allegorithmic has released a free plugin enabling Cinema 4D users to load Substances, the procedural materials generated its Substance Designer software, in use throughout the games industry.
The release makes Cinema 4D the latest 3D application to support the Substance .sbsar format, alongside 3ds Max, Maya and Modo, and the Unity and Unreal Engine game engines.
Availability
The Substance in Cinema 4D plugin is available for Cinema 4D R16+ on Windows and Mac OS X. It works in all versions of the software except the free Cinema 4D Lite edition bundled with After Effects CC.
