Chaos Group has posted its 2014 V-Ray film and VFX showreel, and – as well as being three minutes of gorgeous eye-candy – it’s a reminder of just how often V-Ray gets used in visual effects work these days.
True, Chaos Group includes games cinematics in this reel (a cue for some great work from Blur Studio and Platige Image), and a lot of the rest is commercials and titles.
But there’s also some great episodic TV – Scanline VFX’s work on Game of Thrones is a CG Channel favourite – and indisputable blockbuster movies, including Ender’s Game, and Scanline’s closing shot of Captain America.
