Download free After Effects image export script aeJPG

Online asset library ProductionCrate has released aeJPG, a handy free image export script for After Effects that makes taking screenshots from the compositing software’s Composition panel a one-click process.

Export screenshots directly from After Effects’ Composition panel to send to clients
aeJPG streamlines the process of taking screenshots from After Effects’ Composition panel – for example, to send to clients, or for use as social media thumbnails.

The script – despite the name, you can export screenshots in any still image format After Effects supports, including JPEG, PNG and TIFF – makes it possible to do so with a single click, directly inside After Effects.

Other free After Effects plugins and stock assets
aeJPG is ProductionCrate’s latest free After Effects add-on, following the recent releases of light wrap generator Crate’s Light Wrap and volumetric lighting tool Crate’s God Rays.

The site also provides a library of over 10,000 stock VFX and motion graphics elements, over 500 of which can be downloaded for free.

Licensing and system requirements
Crate’s Light Wrap is available for free for After Effects 2017+ running on Windows.

To download it, you will need to register for a free account on ProductionCrate, which you can do by selecting the Sample account on the registration page and unchecking ‘Donate $15/mo for 4K downloads’.
