Get 400+ free assets for building a medieval village in Unreal Engine

Epic Games has made a set of over 400 modular assets for creating a medieval village environment available to download for free from Fab, its new online marketplace.

Games Environment Artist Marco Maria Rossi‘s Medieval Village asset pack is part of the latest set of time-limited free content released on Fab, and will be free until the end of the year.

Over 400 modular 3D assets for creating a medieval village environment
The Medieval Village asset pack consists of 496 meshes for creating a stylized village environment for use in games or animation projects.

Most of them are modular architectural parts, like doors, windows and sections of walls and roofs, but the pack includes set dressing objects like boxes, barrels and debris, plus 3D plants.

The assets come with 41 master materials, and support Unreal Engine’s Nanite and Lumen.

System requirements and availability
The Medieval Village asset pack is available as an asset package for Unreal Engine 4.11+ and 5.0+ under a Fab Standard license.

The terms of the Fab Standard license permit content to be used in “any engine or tool”, including for commercial projects, subject to the restrictions set out in the Fab EULA.
