Adobe senior manager for worldwide Substance 3D evangelism Wes McDermott just released a handy free plugin for exporting layer masks from Substance 3D Painter, the firm’s 3D texture painting software.
Masks are exported from the layers selected in PNG, TGA, JPEG or BMP format, at resolutions between 1,024 x 1,024px and 8,192 x 8,192px, or at document resolution. And that’s it. Grab the plugin via the link below.
