Stock practical effects site ActionVFX has released a new set of 40 free blood textures for use in VFX shots.
The textures, which include “pools, sprays, handprints and footprints”, are provided as 32-bit PNG files with alpha channels, at 2,592 x 1,944px resolution. The files may be used in commercial work.
The 5K versions of the images are available to buy, along with two paid sets of effects clips of bleeding wounds and blood spraying from severed necks and limbs.
