Imagineer Systems ships mocha Pro 5 for OFX

Imagineer Systems has released mocha Pro 5 for OFX, the new plugin version of its planar tracking system for OFX-compatible software: for the minute, Nuke and Fusion Studio.

The release follows that of the long-awaited standalone edition of mocha Pro 5 and plugins for Adobe and Avid software earlier this year.

Use mocha’s tracking tools directly inside Nuke and Fusion Studio
As with the other plugins, mocha Pro 5 for OFX enables artists to use mocha Pro’s planar tracking tools directly within their host software, minimising the need for transcoding or external file management.

The plugins have a reduced feature set compared to the standalone edition – you don’t get Python scripting, or the option to import roto projects from Silhouette – but cost $800 less, at just $695.

Pricing and availability
mocha Pro 5 for OFX is available now, for Nuke and Fusion Studio running on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Support for other OFX host software is “coming soon”.

New licences cost $695, while a multi-host plugin, which works across Adobe, Avid and OFX, costs $995. The standalone edition of mocha Pro 5 costs $1,495. There are a range of upgrade and subscription options.
