Eye candy: Next Limit’s Realflow 2015 showreel
New software showreels continue to stream out of Siggraph 2015: literally, in this case, since the latest reel to be released is that for RealFlow, Next Limit’s fluid simulator.
It’s mainly commercials work, plus a few R&D tests and Elastic’s title sequence for the Daredevil Neflix series, with a colourful range of fluids on show, including water, beer, paint, chocolate and nameless goop.
The highlights are probably the more unusual simulations: Ingreme’s massive sand simulation for its Água das Pedras ‘Desert’ spot, and El Ranchito‘s brilliant zero-gravity egg, which sadly, we haven’t found in full online.
