The Foundry has posted its 2014 showreel, showcasing recent work created with Nuke, Mari, Modo, Hiero, Katana and Ocula – and it’s as gorgeous as you might expect.
The recent Hollywood blockbusters (Gravity, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Lego Movie, et al) are present and correct, and there’s some nice commercials work from the likes of The Mill, Psyop, MPC and Method Studios, plus a couple of games cinematics from Platige Image and Digic Pictures.
And while a few ‘old favourites’ sometimes sneak into reels of this type, as far as we can tell – and correct us in the comments if we’re wrong – all of the work on show genuinely did come out in 2013 or 2014.
