A scaled-down version of one of Viz-People’s free 20,000 x 10,000 spherical sky images. The original was actually large enough to crash the rather underpowered laptop on which this story was written.
Viz-People has released a pack of six free 360-degree spherical sky backgrounds. The images are available in JPEG format at 20,000 x 10,000 resolution, and are licensed for use in commercial projects.
