Maide has released CadRemote, a new app enabling users to navigate 3D software via their iPhones.
CadRemote forms a sister product to Maide’s iPad app, recently updated and renamed CadControl.
According to the developer: “We’ve extended our iPad app’s functionality to the iPhone, and released a brand new app called CadRemote that will simplify presentations and collaborative reviews. It lets you use your phone to navigate a 3D model, and sketch over the screen in Solidworks, Maya, 3ds Max, SketchUp and Rhino. Camera control is in the free app, with an in-app purchase for mouse control and sketching functionality.”
CadRemote is available for iOS 4.0 and above. In-app purchase of mouse control costs $2.99.
