r|shaders for 3ds Max ships

Alessandro Cangelosi has released r|shaders, his collection of procedural shaders for 3ds Max.

In development for over a year, r|shaders comprises eight shaders for common natural effects such as water surfaces, snow, sand and magma.

Each is compatible with the scanline renderer and mental ray, with “general support” for V-Ray, finalRender and Brazil r/s. The collection costs $149, but is available at a launch rate of $99 until the end of November.

Updated 14 October: A demo version of r|shaders is now available. Cangelosi has posted that a version 2.0 release will follow early in 2012.
