Fuse, Mixamo’s steadily evolving character generator. Mixamo’s new Indie pricing plan provides full access to Fuse plus the company’s facial mocap and model-decimation tools, and 10 stock animations, for $50/month.
Online animation service Mixamo has launched two new pricing plans aimed at indie artists and small studios, and updated its existing All Access package to take account of the firm’s new character creation and rigging tools.
Everyone gets animations; pay more for Fuse, Face Plus, The Decimator and Auto-Rigger
Of the new plans, the Starter option ($25/month or $250/year) is essentially just five stock animations per month. You get the Basic edition of Fuse, Mixamo’s evolving character creation tool, but that’s free anyway.
The Indie plan ($50/month or $500/year) ups that to ten animations per month, the full version of Fuse, Face Plus, Mixamo’s facial mocap plugin for Unity and MotionBuilder, and online LoD service The Decimator.
Pricing for the top-of-the-range All Access plan remains unchanged at $150/month or $1,500/year, but now provides access to all of the new services, including unlimited use of Mixamo’s online Auto-Rigger.
Mixamo has also cut its pay-per-use prices for single animations or single uses of its tools.
