Untold Studios has posted its making-of video for the animated title sequence for Masters of the Universe, the new live action movie based on Mattel’s media franchise.

Although it shows the forging of He-Man’s iconic Power Sword, it’s a much more visually sophisticated affair than the original 1980s animated series.

The making-of breaks down the animation in real time, transitioning between final renders and the underlying 3D geometry and swirling cloud simulations.
