Wacom launches MovinkPad 11 drawing tablet
Wacom has launched the MovinkPad 11, a new $450 11-inch drawing tablet.
The device, intended for drawing on the move, is the second product with Wacom’s new Movink branding, but unlike last year’s Movink 13, is a standalone Android tablet, not a pen display.
It has a 2,200 x 1,440px touch display, and comes with Wacom’s Pro Pen 3.

A standalone drawing tablet suitable for young artists or doodling on the move
The MovinkPad 11 is the second product with Wacom’s new Movink branding, but unlike last year’s Movink 13, is a standalone Android tablet rather than a pen display.
Wacom is pitching it primarily at schoolkids and students graduating from sketching on phones and non-specialist tablets, although it is also intended for “capturing inspiration” on the move.
The MovinkPad 11 is a fairly typically specced tablet, with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, 5MP and 4.7MP front and rear cameras, running Android 14.
Although it’s only an 11-inch IPS display, the screen resolution is above full HD – it’s midway between HD and QHD – and has a reasonable color gamut.
It comes with Wacom’s Pro Pen 3, also unlike high-end Cintiq Pro and Intuos Pro devices, it isn’t bundled with modular parts for customizing the weight and side switches.
The MovinkPad 11 also supports third-party pens from Dr. Grip, Lamy and Staedtler.
For transferring files, it has a single USB-C port, and supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Comes with Wacom’s own Canvas app and a two-year license of Clip Studio Paint Debut
As an Android tablet, the choice of drawing and painting apps compatible with the MovinkPad 11 is smaller than it would be for a Windows, macOS, or iOS device.
It comes with Wacom’s own Canvas app installed, although it’s only intended for basic sketching: according to the online FAQs, you can’t even change the pen width.
For more serious work, the MovinkPad 11 is bundled with a two-year license of Clip Studio Paint Debut, the entry-level edition of Celsys’s digital drawing and illustration app.
Both Sketchbook and Krita also have Android editions, as does ibisPaint.
Priced similarly to competing drawing tablets
Although Wacom devices typically have a price tag that reflects their build quality and the cachet of the brand, this is less apparent with the MovinkPad 11.
Its launch price of $449.95 is higher than Huion’s Kamvas Slate 11, which has similar specs but only a HD-resolution display.
However, it’s lower than the standard price for XP-Pen’s 12-inch Magic Drawing Pad.
Price and system requirements
The MovinkPad 11 is a standalone tablet running Android 14. It costs $449.95.
