The Gnomon School of Visual Effects is hosting Big Hero 6: Creating Believable Worlds, a free event exploring the making of Disney’s Oscar-winning animated feature, at its Hollywood HQ on Thursday 19 March.
The two-hour session explores how the city of San Fransokyo and the movie’s other environments were created.
Speakers include director of cinematography and lighting Adolph Lusinsky, head of effects Michael Kaschalk, CG environment supervisor Larry Wu and lighting supervisor Jennifer Yu.
The event kicks off at 7pm, with the presentation itself preceded by a half-hour meet-and-greet session. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
