Isotropix cuts price of Clarisse iFX to $999

Isotropix has cut the price of Clarisse iFX, its 2D/3D software for scene assembly and relighting, to $995 for a single Freelance licence: a fall of $2,000 since the software was originally released a year ago.

The new Freelance licence is limited to one purchase per customer, so for studios, the pricing is somewhat higher: a Node Locked licence, which includes one node-locked command line render node, costs $1,499; and a Floating licence, which includes a floating render node, costs $2,399.

All the licence types permit multiple instances of Clarisse iFX on the same workstation, and operate cross-platform, so a single licence can be used on a Windows, Mac OS X or Linux machine.
