Ads that reimagine the world as folded paper are nothing new, but the metaphor feels unusually fitting for the new spot for La Poste, the French postal service.
Directed by Edouard Salier and animated by Digital District, the ad sets a little origami postman in motion through a continuously unfurling paper world, revealed by a circling, unhurried virtual camera move.
Coupled with the restrained palette and minimal score, the results are very stylish indeed.
