Download a free hi-res scan of a male human head
Ten24 has released a free ultra-hi-res 3D scan of a male head, complete with 4,096 x 4,096-pixel texture map, to mark the launch of its new online store, www.3dscanstore.com.
The asset can be downloaded in OBJ or ZTL formats.
There isn’t a lot else in the store yet (the studio says that it will populate it with content over time), although there are sections for scans, models, reference photography and textures.
The prices look reasonable, though: fully textured models come in at £40 (a little over $60), and hi-res head scans are going for just £10 ($15) each.
