cebas releases demo of thinkingParticles 5

cebas has released a new trial version of thinkingParticles 5, its 3ds Max physics plugin.

ThinkingParticles 5, which was released commercially in June, adds Bullet physics and a soft-body solver – the latter shown in the video above – to the plugin’s existing particles tools.

According to MAX Plugins.de, the new demo is not time-limited, but comes with a list of production-related restrictions, including the lack of an option to render or export particles, or to cache simulations.

The developer has also announced the next update to the plugin. ThinkingParticles 6, which will add liquid and cloth simulation tools, was previewed at Siggraph last month.
